Day 8 of Lockdown - Painting the Windows 2

Please note, you may not understand this blog as well if you’ve not read the one from yesterday.
I’m Joel a 9year old boy in lockdown. I live in Auckland, New Zealand and since the 24th March 2020 we’ve been in lockdown because of Movid 19……. Oh sorry Covid 19. Who is Covid anyway?

Anyhow today we were going to finish painting the windows. If you read yesterdays blog then you’ll know that we started painting the windows for fun and to make them look nice for people coming to deliver things to us.

So today we had to finish them as just under half of it still had to be painted. Mummy was working so I had to do it all by myself. Remember how yesterday I said that the orange and the red worked really well? Well that was the same today. Also the yellow was still misbehaving but I used a different type of yellow and it worked. So Nah Nah Nah Boo Boo on yellow - I did not have to send it to the Principal’s office today. (I don’t even know who the Principal is, because I was just making it all up). The green was being very naughty today because it kept dripping - Drip Drip Drip.  SOOO ANNOYING!!! The blue behaved about the same as yesterday. Not too hard, not too easy. In case your wondering what on earth I’m babbling on about,  you need to read yesterdays’  blog.

When it was finished however** It looked soooooooooo good (As you can see on the picture below). The only problem was that the green had dripped and even when I tried to paint over it you could still see that it had dripped. Naughty green. I think it needs toilet training so that it doesn’t keep dripping.

So that’s pretty much all that happened when we finished painting the windows. Oh and by the way Covid 19 is very pooooooooooooo Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

**Haha made you look down again. Hehe

Day 7 of Lockdown - Painting the windows

I’m Joel a 9year old boy in lockdown. I live in Auckland, New Zealand and since the 24th March 2020 we’ve been in lockdown because of Movid 19……. Oh sorry Covid 19. Who is covid anyway?

Anyway today Mummy and I decided to paint the window by the front door for fun and to make it look nice for people delivering to us. We had to make a special type of paint so we could get it off the window. We did this by mixing normal paint and soap.

We used blue, orange, red, green and yellow for colours. It was quite hard to paint because if you painted it too much the paint would come off and you had to go over it again. VERY ANNOYING!!!!

The orange worked really well but the yellow really misbehaved** and would not go on properly. In the end I sent it to the Principal’s office. Doesn’t it know we were trying to make our window look nice? The red on the other hand was behaving very well. Blue was sort of behaving but was a bit hard to paint on. The same thing happened with the green. We painted lots of shapes on the window and later Mummy painted a cross in the top half as we only painted the bottom half.

Mummy said we’ll have to finish it tomorrow because we still have to paint some of that window and another whole window on the other side of the front door.

So that’s pretty much all that happened when we painted our window with hard paint to paint with.
Oh and by the way Covid 19 is very poooooooooooooooo byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

**Why are you looking down here the story is up there ↑↑ silly

Day 6 of Lockdown - The Bike Ride

I’m Joel a 9year old boy in lockdown. I live in Auckland, New Zealand and since the 24th March 2020 we’ve been in lockdown because of Movid 19……. Oh sorry Covid 19. Who is covid anyway?

On Tuesday Daddy, Mummy and I went on a bike ride. Now we haven’t been on a bike ride in aaaaaaaages. Like about a year or so. So that meant Mummy and Daddy were a bit wobbly (I was too, when I first got on but I was fine after that).  Also Mummy’s bike kept clicking and she said it was soooo heavy.

Anyhow. We cycled down the driveway and then Daddy told me that I would have to ride on the edge of the road so that I could stay 2 meters away from anyone if they were on the path. I did not like that idea because even though there were hardly any cars around I still felt uncomfortable. So we decided to cycle all the way to the park a few streets away because it wouldn’t be too far. And when we got there you will not believe how many people were there. There was about 15 - when everybody’s meant to be in lockdown!!! And the more Covid 19 spreads the longer we have to be in lockdown. Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Now on the way back Mummy was finding it hard to ride so she said to me and Daddy to go ahead and we raced of leaving her in the dust.

As we were turning on to our road Daddy started explaining to me how when you’re cycling on a road you need to act like a car by going when the traffic lights go green and stopping when they turn red. I started annoying him by saying that if you had to act like a car then why didn’t you have to pass a cycling test? He was really frustrated at my logic. Hahaha hehehe
So that’s pretty much all that happened on our bike ride apart from the fact that Daddy towed the bin up the drive with his bike and I don’t know how he did it.

Oh and by the way Covid 19 is very poooooooo Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Day 5 of Lockdown - The Cricket Game

So I’m Joel a 9year old boy. I live in Auckland, New Zealand. We’re in lockdown because of Movid 19…… oh Covid 19. Who is Covid anyway?

On Monday me and my dad played Cricket. Now in case you were wondering I looooove Cricket. I think instead of going to the gym adults should play cricket for exercise.

Anyway on to the cricket game. I won the coin toss (AKA the paper, scissors, rock) and wanted to bowl first. For some weird reason I always seen to play better when I bowl first. I know right? Weird.
And guess what. When daddy batted I got him out for 0. Yup zero. Zint. Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Anyhow when I had my bat I didn’t do too badly, getting 40 before playing a useless shot right in to the dreaded hands of daddy. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Boooooooooooooooooooo
And then an even worse thing happened, Daddy got about 70 before finally getting out. Now he was in the lead. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.  Now I have even more bad news. I got out for 0 this time. ON MY FIRST BALL TOO. Daddy was so close to winning the game.
Then the worst thing that could have happened, happened. Daddy got another good score. This time it was about 80!!!!
So now I had to get about 100 to win. Sadly I did not I only got 19 and so I lost.
WHAT!!!!! I LOST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

So that is pretty much all that happened in the cricket game - I LOST.

Oh and by the way Covid 19 is very pooooooooooooo. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Day 4 of Lockdown - The Walk

So, I'm Joel a 9year old boy, in lockdown. I live in Auckland , New Zealand and since the 24th March 2020, we've been in lockdown because of Movid-19..... oh sorry... Covid-19. Who is Covid anyway?

Anyhow, on Sunday, day 4 of lockdown, we went on a walk. Now, you may be wondering why we went on a walk while we were in lockdown, but we're allowed to go for walks nearby. How come we're allowed to go for walks , but not to the beach?  - my mum is addicted to the beach.

Anyway, on to the actual walk. We left our house and walked a million hundred miles to the end of the driveway. Then Mummy and Daddy started talking about adulty stuff. blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. We were nearly at the end of our road when a drone came over our heads. It was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo annoying. Although if it was a TV drone we could have been on TV. That would be so cooooooooooool.

We walked a bit further and then decided to walk down a road we had never been down before [The road was called Fencible Place in case you were wondering] Now Fencible Place turned out to be a really boring road , but on the way back up it we saw a group of alien UFOs attacking a man who appered to be shouting BOB POOPYHEAD!!!!!!!!! No, not really that would be crazy if alien UFOs attacked a man shouting BOB POOPYHEAD!!!!!!!!! But one thing we did see was a nappy on the side of the road! I know!! Who throws their nappies on the side of the road? Some crazy baby.

By now we were kind of close to home when we saw a dog less than 2 meters away from its owner! You see people (and dogs it seems) are supposed to stay 2 meters away from each other unless they are part of the same household. Even though this dog was probably from the same household as its owner it probably is carrying Covid 19 !! We should have called the police!! Oh and as we were nearing our road,  that annoying drone dropped out of the sky and on to the road. Hahaha
Nah Nah boo boo on the owner of the drone.

So that's pretty much all that happened on our boring walk that wasn't actually boring. Oh and by the way Covid 19 is very pooooooooooooo. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeee
